Following the Aviation Engineering Cup 2023, AESC was honored to receive an invitation to participate in the "VJC Birthday Celebration Football Tournament – VIETJET FOOTBALL LEAGUE 2023." For FC AESC, this tournament was not only an exciting opportunity for players to showcase their skills but also a bridge to strengthen the relationship between VJC and AESC.

FC AESC officially kicked off its journey in the early days of the tournament, delivering outstanding performances. Competing against strong teams, AESC players displayed great determination, teamwork, and dedication.

By the end of the VJC Football League 2023 group stage, FC AESC had successfully defeated formidable opponents, securing the top position in Group A.

Securing a Quarterfinal Spot – The Reward for Hard Work

After days of intense competition, on December 21, 2023, FC AESC proudly advanced past the group stage to earn a spot in the Quarterfinals. This achievement reflected the team’s thorough preparation and unwavering determination.

Reaching the Quarterfinals was not only a significant milestone for AESC but also motivation for the team to continue giving their best, bringing even more exciting matches to fans.

Facing VJC HAN OFFICE in the Quarterfinals, FC AESC put on a spectacular display. With precise assists and seamless teamwork, the players secured a 3-1 victory, officially making their way into the top 4 teams of the tournament.

Stopped at the semifinals with regret

Building on their Quarterfinal success, FC AESC advanced to the Semifinals, where they faced VietJet Central Region in an intense showdown. Throughout 50 minutes of fierce competition, both teams fought hard, but neither could find the back of the net, leading to a decisive penalty shootout. Despite their valiant efforts, AESC had to bow out of the tournament at the Semifinals stage in a bittersweet ending.

Although the dream of reaching the final had to be put on hold, FC AESC proudly secured third place in the tournament. The team fought with all their passion, determination, and sportsmanship, making this achievement a well-deserved reward for their relentless efforts. This success will serve as motivation for AESC to continue striving for greater accomplishments in the future!
