Today, AESC gathered for a heartfelt farewell to a truly special colleague – Mr. Mai The Chien, who has been with AESC since its earliest days.

“My journey with AESC has lasted from September 2008 until now, almost 18 years. Every good thing must come to an end. As the Vietnamese saying goes, ‘Old bamboo makes way for new shoots.’ I have now become a bamboo that is well beyond the official retirement age!”

Joining the company in September 2008, when AESC was still a small workshop with only around ten employees and great ambitions ahead, Mr. Chien has accompanied the company throughout nearly 18 years of growth and development. As Quality Assurance Manager, he played a vital role in building the foundation of quality, compliance, and credibility that AESC is known for today.

Many of AESC’s key domestic and international approvals and certifications bear the mark of his expertise, dedication, and unwavering commitment to excellence. Respected not only by aviation professionals in Vietnam, Mr. Chien has also earned the admiration and trust of colleagues, partners, and industry experts across the United States and Europe.

During his farewell speech, he shared:

“My journey with AESC has lasted from September 2008 until now – almost 18 years. Every good thing must come to an end. As the Vietnamese saying goes, ‘Old bamboo makes way for new shoots.’ I have now become a bamboo that is well beyond the official retirement age.”

His simple yet sincere words touched many colleagues, reminding us of the remarkable journey he has shared with AESC.

AESC would like to express our deepest gratitude to Mr. Mai The Chien for his enduring contributions, professionalism, and dedication over nearly two decades. The values he helped build will continue to live on in our quality culture, our way of working, and our future development.
