AESC’s Training Centre is a Level 3 Training Organization for Aviation Maintenance Technician (AMT) Category A1. Basic Training Course for AMT Cat A1 is compliance with EASA Part 66, Appendix 1.

It provides training services in the following areas: 

(i) Basic Aviation Courses both theory and practical (skill) training;

(ii) Non-destructive testing (Ultrasonic and Eddy Current)

The training facilities and instructors are up to international standards, creating a well qualified environment for learning. Areas come under the stringent scrutiny of CAAV include, but not limited to:

a) Course Syllabus and Lesson Plans

b) Course Notes

c) Approved Instructors, and

d) Classrooms Conditions (e.g. appropriate temperature and controlled noise level conducive for training)

Practical in actual maintenance facilities (160 hours)

Location

AESC Training center is located at Lot 43A, Quang Minh Industrial Zone, Me Linh, Hanoi, Vietnam, about 10 minutes driving from Hanoi International Airport. The Center is fully equipped with state-of-the-art training equipment and facilities which include 2 lecture rooms that could accommodate up to 60 students. A conference room with all equipment, break–out rooms for discussion and an aviation resource library are available. The students are entitled to use wifi connection free of charge. The company canteen offers hygiene and healthy lunch for the students' convenience.   

Skills Training Services Division

AESC includes a Skills Training Services Division offering specialized training programs to develop highly skilled aircraft maintenance personnel. This complements the typical instructor-led theory classroom sessions to fulfill the industry demands for knowledge-based and skilled technicians and engineers.  The Workshop's layout is clearly demarcated to provide for training in Sheet Metal and Composite Repair, Engineering Workshop Practices, Avionics maintenance, Inspection and Non-destructive Testing.

The facilities is air-conditioned, well-equipped with specialized tooling and equipment and staffed by qualified and experienced instructors to ensure professional and quality standard of training. The skills training consists of basic mechanic and electrical facilities and environment where students can learn very useful and basic practices, eg wire locking, rigging, structure repair practices, using of electrical instruments, printed circuit formulation, crimping, soldering ….. 

Together with On-Job-Training (OJT) secured through partnerships with various MROs, this sets the stage for our Training Centre to offer structured apprenticeship program to address the industry shortage for trained and qualified maintenance personnel
